CycleIQ ("CycleIQ," "we," "us," or "our") provides a mobile application that helps you plan, track, and understand peptide and supplement protocols alongside your health and fitness data (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using CycleIQ, you agree to the practices described here.
If you connect a health data source, we read a limited set of metrics to power your dashboard, charts, and AI context: sleep duration and sleep stages, step count, resting heart rate, average heart rate, and heart rate variability (HRV). From sleep duration and stages we compute an in-app sleep quality score. Supported sources are:
Connecting a health source is entirely optional, and only one source is active at a time. To build trends and protocol insights, we save a daily summary of these metrics (one row per day: sleep, steps, resting heart rate, HRV) to your account in our backend. You can disconnect at any time in the app's Settings, or revoke access in your device's health settings or your Google account permissions.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your health data for advertising or marketing of any kind.
CycleIQ's AI Coach, food photo analysis, and lab document scanning are powered by OpenAI's API. When you use these features, relevant data is transmitted to OpenAI for processing:
OpenAI processes this data under its own Privacy Policy. By using AI features in CycleIQ, you acknowledge that relevant data will be transmitted to OpenAI.
Data read from Apple HealthKit is used solely to display your metrics in the app, power trend charts, and provide the AI Coach with health context. Consistent with Apple's guidelines, we never use HealthKit data for advertising or other use-based data mining, and we never sell it or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
CycleIQ's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
This applies to all data CycleIQ receives from Google, whether through Google Health Connect on Android or the Google Health API (Fitbit and Pixel Watch data accessed via OAuth with your Google account). For that data:
Your account data and uploaded files are stored in our backend hosted by Supabase, with row-level security ensuring each account can only access its own records. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf to run the Service, specifically our database and hosting provider (Supabase) and the AI model provider (OpenAI). These providers are bound to use your data only to provide their services to us.
Chat history with the AI Coach is stored only on your device and is not synced to our servers. You can clear it at any time within the app.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of CycleIQ and its users.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual entries (protocols, logs, journal entries, lab results, uploaded files) in the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data permanently, contact us at the email below and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.
We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted connections (TLS), authenticated API access, and row-level security so that each account can only access its own records. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable technical and organizational measures.
CycleIQ is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
CycleIQ is a tracking and informational tool. Nothing in the app, including AI assistant responses, dosing information, lab interpretations, nutritional estimates, and safety warnings, is medical advice. None of it has been evaluated or approved by the FDA or any regulatory body. Many compounds discussed in CycleIQ are research chemicals not approved for human use. Always consult a qualified, licensed healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any peptide, supplement, or medication protocol.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated in the app.
